Methods in the real world

Objectives

The aim of this session is to provide an overview of the different methods that are used in the real world, from the perspective of the participants and the course instructors.

It is a chance to discuss how nowcasting and real-time reproduction number estimation are applied in practice, the data and operational constraints involved, and how participants are using (or could use) these methods in their own work.
